Go far and ride with our exhilarating cross-Island cycling challenge. Your chance to ride from one end of the stunning Isle of Wight to the other whilst conquering peaks of up to 150m along the way.

‘Yesterday rode 60 miles off-road with a wonderful bunch of people in aid of Mountbatten. End2End is a superb event! Huge thanks to everyone involved in making it happen’ – James S, 2018 participant

Join the End2End Facebook community.

From Culver Down in the East to The Needles Battery in the West (and back again), navigate your way along an off-road and on-road route. With a choice of three distances, starting from 23km to a whopping 92km, there's a route for everyone – from the novice to the most experienced rider.

Midway on the route, you are invited to take a break and enjoy the hospitality of David & Jane Isaac at their home Snowdrop Cottage in Gatcombe. This is the end point for the juniors or those for whom a 23km ride is enough of a challenge. There is no parking available at Snowdrop Cottage.

From there, you continue on the route to the Needles  - a stunning photo opportunity. The conclusion of End2End 44.9km. You can either stop there or cycle 'back again' following the same route back to Culver and enjoy a well deserved beverage at the Culver Haven Inn.

Last year’s quickest rider completed the End2End and back again route in an impressive 4hrs 18mins! Can you beat that?

You’ll be guaranteed a warm welcome and an awesome ride when you take part in End2End with Mountbatten. But don’t take our word for it! Here’s what some of our riders have to say:

‘My first time at this event and I’ve got to say it was AWESOME!’ – Rob S, 2018 participant

‘Thanks again to all who put this event on - a great day riding and money raised.’ – Adam H, 2017 participant

‘Our first time this year, thank you to all the lovely friendly people and the fantastic hospitality at Snowdrop Cottage’ – Jai N, 2017 participant

Your entry will support Island people when they need it most. Every year Mountbatten needs to raise over £8m to provide end of life care and support to adults, children and families on the Isle of Wight. Without the generosity of people like you, Islanders would face the final years of their life without Mountbatten by their side. By taking part in this event and fundraising, or making an additional donation on top of the cost of entry, you will be helping to ensure no Islander faces death, dying and bereavement alone. Thank you.

PS: We are also recruiting volunteer ‘Back Cyclists’ who ride behind the last rider to ensure all riders are accounted for. Any volunteers in this role would not be a participant of the event, but their support for less experienced riders would be very much appreciated. If this volunteer opportunity sounds interesting, please contact Tanya Smith, call 01983 217336.
