Donate to Remembering with Ribbons
This summer, our Chelsea Garden at Mountbatten Hospice will come alive with hundreds of colourful ribbons dedicated to the memory of those we love who have died.
We invite you to join us in July and August to add your ribbon to this beautiful, moving tribute to remember someone close to you. While you are here, why not book one of our lovely Afternoon Teas, cost £15, served in our Mountbatten Cafe, and use this opportunity to remember your loved ones together. Bookings can be made by calling 01983 217341 or 217342.
The ribbons will be on display until 1 September, and you are welcome to visit the garden at any time during July and August.*
Please allow one week after making your dedication to pay your visit.
By donating, you will help Island families receive the support, kindness, and expert care they need to face death, dying, and bereavement with Mountbatten by their side. Your generosity means that no one has to face death alone. Thank you.
* Subject to opening hours, government guidelines and social distancing measures.
We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to our event supporter, Wight Woodlands Tree Surgery & Woodland Management.
If you donate with your dedication, you will receive a special ribbon pack containing a ribbon for you to write a personal message to your loved one.
In memory of his wife, Marilyn, John plans to place a ribbon in the hospice garden, as part of the Remembering with Ribbons event.
While you are here, we would like to invite you to book an afternoon tea served in our Mountbatten Cafe.
