£5,000 donated to Mountbatten

Hose Rhodes Dickson has donated five thousand pounds to Mountbatten this month and will continue to support the charity throughout 2021. The local estate agents have pledged to continue to support the work of the Mountbatten at Home Community Nursing Team, who care for people in their own homes at the end of their lives, whilst also supporting family and carers.

"Work done at Mountbatten plays a big role in Island life"

Marcus Waldron, director of Hose Rhodes Dickson, commented: “We have always been huge supporters of our local community and it is really important to us that we give something back to the Island, especially during this current climate. The work done at Mountbatten plays a big role in Island life, I don’t think there is anyone that hasn’t been affected in one way or another, whether personally or through family and friends. The fact that we have supported ‘Walk the Wight’ from the beginning makes for a natural fit that we should continue to support Mountbatten, especially during this difficult time”.

Hose Rhodes Dickson "long term supporters of Mountbatten"

Nigel Harley, CEO at Mountbatten said: “‘Hose Rhodes Dickson have been long term supporters of Mountbatten and we’re so pleased they have chosen to raise money in order to continue the funding of a Mountbatten nurse. Their support will directly benefit so many people living on the Island needing the support of our specialist nurses.”

Hose Rhodes Dickson will continue to raise money for Mountbatten throughout 2021 through a series of events that can be done in accordance with government guidelines.
