Professionals Bank shop manager Shop manager (bank) Salary: £8.52 per hour Apply now About the Role: Working as one of our Bank Shop Managers within our retail team you will provide much needed support to cover periods of absences, including holiday, sickness, training and other events. As one of our Bank Shop Managers you will be required to maximise sales and be responsible for the day to day running of a designated retail outlet. You will provide management support to the outlets volunteer team, ensuring that they maintain Mountbatten’s high standards of customer care. You will be required to liaise with our warehouse operations to ensure that your outlet has a good level of stock for sale and organise any collection of donations with them as required. Our bank positions offer you the opportunity to choose your working hours from those available. This role provides excellent opportunities to expand your retail and management skills within a charity sector and provides opportunities for you to work alongside our warehouse and distribution teams. You will be responsible for: Day to Day Management of a designated Retail Outlet Providing outstanding customer service Actively supporting fundraising activities/promotions for Mountbatten Stock rotation and Donations within the designate Retail Outlet Managing the retail outlets volunteer team, including providing training as required About you: You will have a good standard of education and ideally have previous retail and cash handling experience. You will have good communication skills to enable you to maintain Mountbatten’s high standards within your team and customer service. You will be an organised individual who is able to adopt a flexible approach to working hours to support our retail teams. You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to Mountbatten’s Values and have previous retail management experience. You will be able to work under pressure ensuring high standards of customer services. You will use your own initiative and creativity to generate ideas to improve sales and customer experience. You will have good IT skills, including Microsoft packages and electronic sales points. You must have a full current driving licence and use of a vehicle for business purposes as you will be required to work from any of our 10 retail outlets across the Island.
