We would like to invite you and your company to take part in Mountbatten Isle of Wight's Corporate Challenge 2021.

This year we are asking you and your business to think big!

The concept of the Corporate Challenge is simple; we ask you and your company to raise as much money as you can within a three-month period – this year we are asking companies to take part from September 1st and December 1st, 2021.

There are lots of ways you can do this, and we really don’t mind what you do as long as it’s ethical and legal! 

Suggestions include dress down days, bake sales, raffles etc, or you could enter individuals or a team into challenge events, a sky dive or abseil down the Spinnaker Tower.

All money raised is credited to your overall fundraising amount.

For example, employees who join our Mountbatten Lottery during the qualifying period will also be credited to your fundraising amount so, you see, it really is easy for the funds to mount up.

To celebrate the end of the challenge we will be holding a Celebratory Event in early 2022 where the winners in the various categories will be presented with their well-earned trophies. 

There is the opportunity to win an award even if you are not the company who raises the most. This is also a great opportunity to network and socialise with all the other teams taking part.

We give great support to participating companies by giving them fundraising packs to include items such as posters, collection tins, collection buckets and fundraising merchandise. 

Keeping you up to date

We will also provide ongoing support throughout the challenge and our leaderboard, published every two weeks, encourages the competition element between participating businesses.

We will also be holding regular free-of-charge breakfast meetings throughout the fundraising period to keep you all informed of what’s happening with the Corporate Challenge and for you to meet and network with the other businesses to find out their plans too.

As well as raising much needed funds for Mountbatten Isle of Wight, taking part in the Corporate Challenge has some great benefits for your organisation such as team building, interdepartmental working, publicity and positive PR and shows your commitment to giving back to your communities.

The money you and your company raise will help ensure we can continue and grow our much-needed services across Isle of Wight, providing ongoing compassionate care and support every step of the way, at whatever stage of life, death and bereavement. 

Our services are continually growing as we strive to reach more people who need us through our work in the community, at our hospice and through our bereavement and support services.
