A celebration of Anthony Minghella's life will include the screening of one of his best-known films, Truly Madly Deeply.

Born and raised on the Island, Anthony, a film director, playwright and screenwriter, directed Truly Madly Deeply, which was released in 1991, starring Juliet Stevenson and Alan Rickman, pictured, below..

Anthony's other films included The English Patient, The Talented Mr Ripley and Cold Mountain.

Gioia, Anthony's sister, will host a special evening at Mountbatten, sharing insights into his life, as well as a question and answer session.

Wine and canapes will be available on the night.

Date: Friday 19 April

Time: 7pm - 10.30pm

Cost: £10 per person

Audience: Open to all

Overview: Arrive at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Gioia will provide an introduction, before the screening of Truly Madly Deeply. This will be followed by a question and answer session with Gioia.
