Overview

Following a successful four year programme where our CQC ratings have seen an increase to 86% achieving good or above, we now move forward together with our Island care community, to share a framework of quality to ensure outstanding care for those we support. 

We are now inviting Island care provider proprietors, managers and deputy managers to enrol on our 'Island Better Care Moving Forward' programme. 

The new programme includes information on the following topics:

• What positive leadership looks like 
• Recruitment and retention of staff
• Looking after your workforce and staff resilience / wellbeing
• Interoperability and quality data collection
• Collaborative partnership working and establishing community connections
• Preparing for CQC Inspection
• Medicines management
