Outstanding pianist to perform at hospice

Earl Mountbatten Hospice is delighted to welcome prize-winning pianist and professor of the piano department at the Detmold University of Music, Elena Margolina, who will perform the next concert in the hospice’s 2017 concert series (7:30pm on Saturday, 29 April, 2017)
Elena has won many famous piano and chamber music competitions, among them the International Piano competition in Glasgow, as well as V. International Schubert Piano Competition in Dortmund. She has performed with leading orchestras under prominent conductors and is welcomed as a guest in the large European concert halls.
As part of Earl Mountbatten Hospice’s Social Programme, Elena has kindly agreed to perform a varied programme of work by Bach, Schubert, Czerny, Mozart and Chopin.
Nigel Hartley, Chief Executive, said: “It is a real honour to welcome a musician of Elena’s calibre to the hospice. We are very much looking forward to an evening of live music in the relaxed setting of the John Cheverton Centre lounge. If you’ve never been to one of our concerts before, please do come along and see what our hospice is all about – you will be surprised!”
Admission is £10 and includes a glass of wine and canapés in the interval. There is no need to book, although should you wish to guarantee your place, you can contact Tina Groves by email or phone 217311.

"They anticipate my needs and I believe go the extra mile in ensuring the quality of my life is enhanced".
