A hugely popular gift fair in aid of Mountbatten promises to be your one-stop shop for quality gifts this Christmas.

The prestigious Mountbatten Gift Fair returns on 27 November, bringing a mix of local and mainland traders to Bembridge Sailing Club.

Around 40 boutique and high-end stalls with an array of unique gifts are on offer to those attending the annual event, which, to date, has raised over £50,000 to support Mountbatten’s work.

Rosamond Poncia, Mountbatten Trustee and Chair of the Gift Fair Committee, said: “We are delighted to bring the Mountbatten Gift Fair back to Bembridge Sailing Club. The committee, who all volunteer their time, have worked hard to make this the biggest and best fair yet with lots of new stalls and wonderful raffle prizes to be won.

“Not only is this a fabulous opportunity to stock up on some exceptional Christmas gifts, but by supporting this event, you will be helping families on the Isle of Wight when they need it the most.”

For the last six years, the committee has hosted a gift fair and even held a virtual version during lockdown in 2020, which raised £11,000 for the hospice.

Shoppers are invited to attend a special preview night between 5pm and 8pm on Friday, 26 November 2021, when the £15 entry cost includes wine and delicious canapés. Tickets can be purchased online.

The main shopping event is on Saturday, 27 November, between 10am and 3pm, the cost of entry is £3.

For every purchase made at the gift fair, 10 per cent is donated by the stallholders to Mountbatten.

The Mountbatten Gift Fair is generously supported by sponsors Spence Willard, Rouse Intelligent Financial Planning, Wightlink, Weaver Brothers Ltd, Nosy Marketing, Kendalls Fine Art, and Coast & Country Marquees.
