ADMIN SUPPORT OFFICER
20 hours per week
Salary  £9,016.12 per annum 

To support our services we are looking for an exceptional individual to take on the role of Admin Support Officer supporting our teams at the Hospice in Newport.

We are looking for a friendly, caring, compassionate and flexible individual who is organised and methodical to enable them to provide general administration support across our teams.

You will be a cclear communicator with excellent writing, data entry and presentation skills: capable of constructing and delivering clear information/ instructions to others and patients/carers, including the processing of referrals, inputting data, answering incoming calls and preparing meeting agendas and minutes.

You have strong customer care skills to enable you to deal with difficult conversations in a professional and friendly manner, offering support to patients and families during difficult times.

You will be a competent user of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook and be able to work on own initiative and enjoy learning new skills working as a member of our dedicated and professional team.

You will be required to work your 20 hours per week in accordance with our shifts, which will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

SHOP MANAGERS BANK

Here at Mountbatten we have embarked on an ambitious and innovative programme of care services across the Island to enable us to reach more individuals and their families, carers and loved ones than ever before.  We believe hospice care can be delivered in any setting across the Island.

To support our plans, we are looking for an exceptional individuals to take on the role of Bank Shop Manager to provide supervisory cover for Shop Manager / Assistant Manager during periods of absence or non-availability eg, holiday, sickness, and training. This may be at any of the retail outlets across the Island.

Mountbatten's retail operation is a community based shopping experience with 10 successful shops in our portfolio. Our shops are of the highest standard and are vibrant, innovative and value for money. We have a commitment to growth and there is no ceiling to our ambition.

Reporting to the Operational Retail Manager you will be directly responsible for the business during periods of absence, the purpose of the Bank Shop Manager is to maximise the shop income, by supervising the day to day operations to the highest standard, providing excellent customer service to both donors & customers by managing & motivating our volunteer teams.

You will have previously demonstrated your ability to recruit, motivate and support teams of volunteers.

The successful candidate will be passionate, energetic and outgoing, and motivated by our values "we care for all’.

It is essential for the post holder to be flexible to work additional hours at short notice.

Mountbatten Registered Nurses - Bank

Agenda for Change Band 5

Salary £22,128 to £28,746 pro-rata

 

Our Mountbatten bank registered nursing team provides a day and night ‘sitting’ respite service to support patients who wish to remain at home in the last days/weeks of life.   As a NMC registered nurse you will be required to support our patients across the Island whether within thier own homes or at their place of choice. 

Our service provides support for hours during the day and overnight to provide much needed respite for families and carers.

You will be paid in accordance with Agenda for Change terms and conditions, including enhancements and NHS pension, subject to confirmation of service rights.

You will be a NMC Registered Nurse, have excellent interpersonal skills and be self-motivated.  You will have previous expereince of working within a Hospital, Hospice or Care setting.   You are also required to have access to a vehicle and a hold clean valid UK driver’s license or have an alternative means of transport as they will be expected to carry out community visits.
