Community volunteers (Mountbatten Neighbours) help tackle loneliness in their local area by spending an hour each week with an older person living with a chronic life-limiting illness, frailty, or someone feeling isolated from their local community.
There are lots of people across the Island who need a friendly face and a listening ear. If you believe no one in your community should be left alone or without the care and support they need, this is the role for you.
