Mountbatten Community Choir has released a song to mark one year since the UK went into lockdown on 23 March 2020 at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. The song has been written by members of a group of young adults with life-limiting conditions who gathered weekly at Mountbatten Isle of Wight before lockdown. Read more

Mountbatten Isle of Wight is opening a new Bereavement Helpline available to all those across the Isle of Wight who have been bereaved. As part of the psychology and bereavement service provided by Mountbatten, trained and supported volunteers will be offering a listening ear to those who are bereaved and anyone who feels they would want to talk to someone. High Sheriff Caroline Peel has presented three young Mountbatten Volunteers awards. The High Sheriff was impressed by the calibre of the three recipients - Solomon Wells, Thea Ricketts and Harrison Burnett. "Their caring ethic, willingness to go the extra mile to help others, often whilst undergoing severe personal problems, has really touched me" said the High Sheriff. Read more
