People of all ages and abilities take part in Walk the Wight with Mountbatten, and with a choice of four routes and free bus travel [link to bus timetable] to and from every walk it’s easy for everyone to take part and support Islanders and their families.

You’ll receive the new Island shaped Walk the Wight with Mountbatten 2019 medal when you cross the finish line!

The Main Walk

Full Walk, 8-12 hours*

26.5 miles from Bembridge to Alum Bay

1st half, 4-6 hours*

12.5 miles from Bembridge to Carisbrooke

2nd half, 5-8 hours*

14 miles from Carisbrooke to Alum Bay

The Flat Walk, 2-4 hours*

8 miles from Sandown to Shide

Dogs Walk All walks

You can register your dog [link to Xing] to join you on your walk. You’ll receive a walker number for your dog in your fundraising pack which entitles them to receive a special bone shaped Walk the Wight with Mountbatten 2019 medal when they cross the finish line.
