The Sky presents the Isle of Wight Festival 2026 proved to be something of a homecoming for Isle of Wight bands, with Level 42 taking on the mantle on Sunday.

After homegrown Wet Leg's Saturday performance, Sunday saw the Lessons In Love and Running in the Family hitmakers take to Main Stage.

It was the band's first time at Seaclose Park.

Fronted by the Island's own Mark King, there were plenty of on-stage local mentions, including for Isle of Wight Radio.

Back stage, after their hit-filled set, keyboard player and vocalist, Mike Lindup, kindly stopped to pose with a Mountbatten Isle of Wight sunflower.

Travelling to the festival, Mike had earlier posted from the ferry, joking: "We're headlining to people of a certain age at half past two in the afternoon. It's lovely. Life is good!"
