He was my partner for 44 years but his friends, family and I knew him as Bill. Holly, our dog, and I miss him very much. He was my world and it is going to take a long time for me to remember him without tears . I never realised how much I would miss him even though we knew he would not be able to beat the cancer and still regret that I was unable to get back to the Hospice in time. I loved him very much despite his faults, he was a strong man who loved a little flutter, and his work as a steeplejack.
