Dad sadly passed away on the 2nd May less than 4 months after being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia. He quickly went from being fit and active to having very little energy to do anything. He will be greatly missed by myself, Sam, his wife Elaine, his grand children and everyone else that knew him. Known to be stubborn and single minded, but respected by everyone for his humour, honesty and humility. Mountbatten Hospice stepped in towards the end and were wonderful in support of the final days. I don't know how families could go through this with out their support. I know he would be very thankful if you could show your support for Mountbatten ensuring other families are also able to benefit from their wonderful services.
