Returning to the John Cheverton Centre after a rousing performance in December 2017, concert-goers are sure to be entertained by this top Island party band, when they appear at 7:30pm on Thursday 4 July 2019.

At their last performance, the crowd enjoyed a night of 50s, 60s and 70s classics including hits such as "Norwegian Wood" a well known 1965 Lennon McCartney song from their Beatles album Rubber Soul.  A popular Lynard Skynyrd  number "Sweet Home Alabama" was followed by a selection of Buddy Holly numbers including:- "Peggy Sue",  "Sindy Lou"', "Heartbeat" and  "Peggy Sue got Married".  Songs released in 1958 included "Rave On",  "Fools Paradise", "Everyday" and "Don't Cry on my Shoulder".

Some of the other covers of songs included Johnny Cash  "Ring of Fire",  Frankie Laine  "Rawhide" followed by The Animals song  from their third album Animals released in 1964 was the "House of the Rising Sun". Rock and roll numbers included "Mustang Sally", Tom Jones - "It's not Unusual" and a number of Elvis songs. The evening closed with Don McLean's "Bye Bye American Pie". 
Admission is £10 and includes wine and canapés. There is no need to book - just turn up on the door.
The concert at 7:30pm on Thursday 4 July 2019, generously sponsored by Red Funnel, is the last in the current series of performances - the programme takes a break in August and is set to return in September. A full line-up is due to be released next month.
