How Wight Clinic is supporting Mountbatten Isle of Wight in 2026

In 2026, Ryde-based dental care provider, Wight Clinic, is working to support Mountbatten Isle of Wight.

Since January, and until the end of the year, ten per cent from every new patient’s first appointment at Wight Clinic is donated to the Island's hospice.

Wight Clinic said: "Mountbatten do truly extraordinary work as we all know and we’re honoured to support them — thank you to the whole Mountbatten team for everything you do.

Mountbatten CEO, Becky McGregor, said: “85 per cent of Mountbatten Isle of Wight’s 24/7 care is delivered in our community, with the rest on our inpatient unit and through outpatient, day and rehabilitation services at the John Cheverton Centre in Newport. The majority of funding needed to deliver Mountbatten’s care comes from our community, including through donations, gifts in Wills, fundraising, our network of charity shops and support from local businesses.
