Whether volunteering in our John Cheverton Centre, where we hold group activities and social events, or on our hospice ward at Mountbatten, these are very important roles that can make a real difference to the lives of those we support. You will be involved in Being a listening ear and a friendly face Welcoming people to our John Cheverton Centre Supporting people to attend our programme of group activities Supporting nurses with admin tasks for clinics Taking orders for meals on the ward, and handing them to patients and families in their rooms You will Join an enthusiastic team Use and develop new skills Be helping people using our services to have access to excellent standards of care You will need to Be a compassionate listener Have excellent communication skills Understand about patient confidentiality Have emotional resilience Be able to follow policies and procedures Manage Cookie Preferences
