Register to volunteer

Our gardens provide a relaxing and reflective place for those we support, their families and friends - as well as the general public. We are looking for volunteers to help keep our grounds tidy, as well as volunteers who can look after equipment we use to support our patients at Mountbatten. 

Time commitment

Variable, depending on needs. Shifts available between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Sunday.

You will be involved in

• Planting and watering
• Sweeping, weeding and grass cutting

And/or

• Collecting and delivering items of patient equipment
• Cleaning gutters and external windows
• Jet washing walkways

You will

• Be enhancing the environment for people who use our services, their family and friends
• Join an enthusiastic team
• Be involved in your local community

You will need to

• Be able to work on your own initiative
• Be enthusiastic - whatever the weather!
• Be a team member
• Understand about patient confidentiality
