Mountbatten Isle of Wight is the Island's only hospice and our building is just yards from the Sky presents the Isle of Wight Festival 2026 site, in Seaclose Park in Newport.

Our charity provides 24/7 hospice care for people dealing with death, dying and bereavement, and their family and friends.

85 per cent of Mountbatten Isle of Wight's expert care is delivered in homes across the Island and our community team can be spotted in our orange cars, from East Cowes to St Catherine's and from Bembridge to Yarmouth, and everywhere in between.

The rest is through day services at the John Cheverton Centre (complete with its events space, cafe and Chelsea Gardens, all of which are open to the public — just pop in!), as well as on our specialist inpatient unit.

Two nurses site next to a man in a bed and all wear sunflowers

Some of the people we are caring for this weekend are embracing the Isle of Wight Festival, alongside our clinical team.

We're lucky enough to hear what's happening on Main Stage — including Lewis Capaldi's sound check, earlier today!

When you buy some of our merch or make a donation, you're supporting kind and compassionate care in our community.
