If you have been told that you may not get better from an illness or condition, or you are becoming increasingly frail and elderly, Mountbatten is here to support you, your family and friends.
Some think that hospice care is only available to people with certain illnesses, but in fact we care for anyone living with a life-limiting condition including dementia, motor-neurone disease and heart failure.
We take care of your physical, emotional, spiritual and practical needs, as well as supporting those around you.
Most of our care takes place in people's own homes or care homes. We also have a 16-bed ward (inpatient unit), our John Cheverton Centre and we support people in hospital. All of our care and support is provided for free, thanks to the fundraising efforts of our incredible Island community.
