During August 2024, 55 daredevils took part in the Isle of Wight's first ever Wing Walk to raise funds for Mountbatten, and you can too!

Soar through the skies on vintage Boeing Stearman biplane 'Ethel Dares' and experience the thrill of wing walking from 500ft.

Date: 12th August 2025 - Level 1 Wing Walk

Location: Sandown Airport, Isle of Wight

Registration fee: £100

Minimum sponsorship: £1,000

Date: 13th August 2025 - Level 2 & 3 Wing Walk*

Location: Sandown Airport, Isle of Wight

Registration fee: £100

Minimum sponsorship: £1,250

*You must show evidence that you have completed a standard wing walk prior to booking your level 2 or 3 wing walk experience.

Requirements:

A good level of general fitness

Maximum weight limit: 90kg/14 stone (clothed)

Minimum height limit: 5'1" (155cm)

Maximum height limit: 6'2" (188cm)

Minimum age: 18
