Lucy's areas of responsibility are leading the quality and delivery of care and education by nursing and allied health professionals across the community, inpatient, hospital, and day services.

Lucy is also responsible for the education provision working with the Education team to ensure the quality of the range of education programmes.

She has worked in cancer, palliative, and end-of-life care for over 25 years. This has been in both hospice and hospital settings, in the UK and Australia.

Several years in the role of Lecturer Practitioner in a university setting, combined hospice work with education and academia, furthering Lucy's passion for both.

Recent years have seen her working at director level in the hospice environment. Lucy has also achieved an MSc Advanced Practice: Cancer, palliative, and end-of-life care in 2007 and in 2021 a distinction in her MBA.
