Once you are registered with our Mountbatten Coordination Centre, you will have access to a 24/7 helpline and signposted to your own unique menu of other Mountbatten services.

You might not initially need our immediate nursing care, but when you or your family do, we will be there at any time of the day or night.

When you phone our advice line, you will speak to one of our trained advisors who is supported by one of our Mountbatten Nurses. They are based in our Mountbatten Coordination Centre which, although located at Mountbatten Hospice in Newport, serves the entire Isle of Wight.

They should already have access to your medical records, through the Share My Care register, and will understand your diagnosis and support you may need.

By phoning our advice and support line, instead of 111, you will speak to someone who is already aware of your unique situation and can provide you access to the expert care you need, hopefully preventing you from having to go to hospital unnecessarily.

You can call the Mountbatten Coordination Centre for information and advice on (01983) 533331.
