Our Chelsea Garden is open for the whole community to enjoy, and can be found just outside the John Cheverton Centre. The garden was officially opened by TV personality and Islander Alan Titchmarsh in July 2016.

Mountbatten was chosen as the proud recipient of the garden in recognition of its work developing services for children and their families on the Island. Greenfingers, the charity dedicated to creating gardens for children in hospices, funded and facilitated the relocation of the garden, which had previously been on show as the Royal Bank of Canada 2015 Chelsea Flower Show garden.

Come and visit the Chelsea Garden soon! It belongs to our whole community on the Isle of Wight.

We are also fortunate to have a children's play area, featuring swings and climbing frames, which is open to the general public.
