Lush, green countryside, historic villages, famous landmarks, majestic chalk cliffs, and coastal views with shimmering blue seas - Walk the Wight has all this and more! With a choice of five walks and distances (4, 8, 12.5, 14, and 26.5 miles), people of all ages and abilities can take part, making this a real community event.
Every year, people who take part in Mountbatten’s Walk the Wight raise a phenomenal amount of money, which enables us to continue to develop our services for Islanders and their families when they need us most, wherever they are on the Island.
